Passport Travel Organiser - Blissful Patterns

blissful patterns etsy sewing passport travel organiser organizer walletWe were recently lucky enough to go on holiday and now that there are three of us, I thought it was about time I made us a travel organiser to hold all our bits in, especially for the airport for quick easy access.

I found a fantastic pattern on Etsy by Blissful Patterns and decided it had everything I needed. Passport pockets, pen holder, coin zip and room for cards and boarding passes etc.

I've got a thing for leopard print fabrics at the moment so I armed myself with some at my local shop and got to work. Im new to sewing and spent all night from about 9 pm through until 2am making it but I'm so pleased with how it came out.

It was an easy beginner pattern to follow and cut the fabric and I would recommend you check her etsy shop out for more fabulous sewing patterns.

What do you guys think?

Hexie Love Actually pattern by Pink Stitches

hexie love actually CAL crochet pink stitches green letter day hexagons blanket

I recently made a Hexie Love Actually crochet blanket for a swap with a lady on Instagram (she made me a Catch All Caddy pattern by Annie in return). I'll post a photo pf my gifted caddy in a different post - its amazeballs!

The Hexie Love Actually pattern is by Pink Stitches and can be found on Ravelry here.  It is a paid pattern.

You can follow the designer on Instagram @greenletterday by clicking here, her photos are fabulous and very inspirational.

I absolutely love the way the colours came together and I almost didnt want to send it, but I guess that is the sign of a good gift when you would love to keep it for yourself.

What do you guys think of my Hexie Love Actually crochet blanket?

Baable Hat by Donna Smith Shetland Wool Week

baable hat baa-ble donna smith shetland wool week knitting stranded colourwork knit

I'm being good recently and trying to work on one WIP at a time!

Last night I finished not one but two Baable hats! I originally made the grey and blue but it came out too big for me so I left it pom pom less. Then the other day my mum tried it on and said she would like it.

I already had the second one on my needles trying out the young adult variation (which I'm thrilled to say fits!) so I finished them both off together last night.

Such a cute free pattern on Ravelry and knits up quite quickly. Great piece to practice my first stranded colourwork in knitting.

What do you think of my Baable hats?
